Independence Day Speech 🎤🇮🇳

Good morning respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends.

Today, we have gathered here to celebrate our 15th August — our Independence Day. This is the day in 1947 when our India became free from British rule. It is a day to remember our great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, and many others who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

Independence means we can live freely in our country, follow our own culture, speak our own language, and have our own government. But with freedom comes responsibility. We must respect our country, obey its laws, keep it clean, and work hard to make it stronger.

Let us take a promise today that we will be good citizens, respect everyone, and always work for the progress of India. Together, we can make our country the best in the world.
